Roles & Responsibilities:Data Extraction and Cleansing: Conduct bulk and programmatic data extractions in Excel and other file types, followed by data cleansing and formatting using formulas or manual tools.Data Mining and Analysis: Use data mining techniques to extract valuable information, identify correlations, and uncover patterns within data sets. Organize and transform this information into comprehensible structures.Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to interpret data and support decision-making processes.Data Visualization: Utilize tools and techniques to visualize data in easily understandable formats, such as diagrams and graphs, to communicate findings effectively.Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and clients, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Workflow Optimization: Identify and recommend new methods to enhance workflow efficiency by streamlining business processes.Data Quality Monitoring: Continuously monitor data quality, removing corrupt data to maintain accuracy and integrity.Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs, ensuring that the information provided aligns with business requirements.Support and Development: Assist with additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.Skills and Knowledge:Advanced Excel Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulae, data cleansing, and macro coding.Programming Skills: Experience with programming languages like Power Query, SQL, Oracle, and Python is highly advantageous.Data Analysis and Modeling: Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data, with a strong grasp of statistical methods.Problem-Solving: Methodical and logical approach to solving complex problems.Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.Organizational Skills: Ability to plan work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Teamwork: Demonstrated proficiency in managing and working with people in a collaborative team environment.
