Prodigal - Data Analyst (Bengaluru, Karnataka, India)

As a Data Analyst, you’ll leverage data to support our product’s growth and impact, working across departments like Data Science, Product, Sales, and Marketing to generate insights that inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Create and maintain data sources for business reports and use cases.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop automated reports and dashboards, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to understand business needs and deliver end-to-end analysis.
• Data Structure Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of Prodigal’s data structures and recommend improvements.
• Mentorship: Guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: New graduates from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions or up to 1 year in data analytics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, and familiarity with PySpark and Databricks.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into analytical frameworks.
