Paytm - Data Scientist (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India)

Paytm Money is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join their analytics team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background, experience in data manipulation, and expertise in machine learning and image processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Python Programming: Develop and automate Python-based scripts and data processing pipelines using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Pipeline Development: Design and implement automated pipelines and cron jobs for data ingestion and analysis.
• SQL: Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.
• Image Processing: Use OpenCV for image processing tasks, including contour work and morphological transformations.
• Version Control: Manage code with Git for large and diverse projects.
• Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Apply NLP techniques, such as text processing, sentiment analysis, and feature extraction.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming and data manipulation libraries.
• Expertise in SQL and writing optimized queries.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV for image processing.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with NLP techniques.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.

Preferred Qualifications:
