Novartis India - Data Analyst (Hyderabad, Telangana, India)

Novartis India is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Hyderabad. This role involves working on diverse data management activities, ensuring data quality, and building solutions that align with Novartis' business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and ensure the sanity of master data (e.g., Customer, Products).
• Support data harmonization and consolidation.
• Query, analyze, and profile various datasets.
• Validate business data and maintain data pipelines for migration activities.
• Build and implement data quality checks and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with business partners and IT to resolve issues.
• Document processes through SOPs, QC lists, and process flow diagrams.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or other quantitative sciences.
• 2–4 years of experience in global organizations as a data steward, data analyst, data engineer, or business analyst.
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Stewardship, and Data Quality.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and programming (SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, Dataiku).
• Understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).

Desirable Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
