Job Description
Milliman is hiring an Actuarial Data Analyst to develop, test, and maintain data analytics infrastructure, supporting predictive modeling and actuarial insights for insurance and retirement products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data preparation and analysis scripts using Python and SQL.
- Support data validation, visualization, and documentation.
- Perform actuarial data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and actuarial experts.
- Maintain and improve data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools.
- Strong actuarial domain knowledge (life and annuity products preferred).
- Passed one or more actuarial exams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in data analytics or actuarial roles.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Databricks, AWS) and predictive modeling.
