Macquarie Group is hiring a Data Scientist to join their Data Science, Analytics, and AI team within Macquarie Asset Management. The role involves developing large language models (LLMs), leveraging machine learning techniques, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop LLMs and AI models to solve real-world challenges.
• Utilize statistical modeling, machine learning, and NLP to generate insights.
• Write advanced SQL queries and work with large datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest research in LLMs, AI, and data science.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or AI.
• Strong programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to stay updated with AI research and apply new methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience in asset management, financial services, or AI applications in business.
