Data Analyst at Aeries Technology (Bengaluru, Karnataka)

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ETL/data processing, monitoring data traffic, schedules, and capturing changes.
  • Perform data analysis, identify inconsistencies, and report variances.
  • Improve existing processes, handle data-related issues, and perform sanity checks.
  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements for data transformation and reporting needs.
  • Execute calculations, trace data through complex logic, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct validations, manage timelines, and create ad-hoc data tools and customizations.
• Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL, writing and optimizing queries, and working with complex data structures.
  • Strong ETL knowledge and experience with logical reasoning and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with ETL reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to handle complex data sets, transform data efficiently, and apply critical thinking to data-related issues.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on math or statistics.
  • Experience in the finance industry.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complicated concepts.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
