Bristlecone - Specialist, BI (Mumbai, India)

Bristlecone is looking for a BI Specialist to design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Create and manage data models using Power BI datasets, DAX, and Power Query.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security with Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Optimize performance and enhance user experience in Power BI solutions.
• Provide training and support for self-service BI tools.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboard optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, etc.).
• Familiarity with Tableau, QlikView, or other BI tools.
• Handling large datasets and optimizing Power BI performance.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification (DA-100, PL-300).
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
