Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Big Data Consultant, Data & Analytics (Bangalore, India)

AWS is hiring a Big Data Consultant to develop and implement cloud-based data analytics and AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients. The role involves collaborating with AWS teams and internal customers to design scalable and high-performance big data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement AWS services like Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EMR, and Redshift for data analytics projects.
• Work on high-scale distributed computing challenges (billions+ records).
• Engage with business and technology teams to develop data-driven strategies.
• Design and execute on-site technical engagements for clients.
• Support cloud migration and development of new cloud-native applications.
• Provide insights to AWS engineering teams for improving data services.
• Travel to client locations when required for professional services engagements.

Required Skills:

• Experience with AWS core services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
• Expertise in data lakes, data warehousing, and real-time/batch data processing.
• Strong software development experience in Python, Java, or related languages.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms.
