Alcon - Data Scientist (Bengaluru, India)

Alcon is hiring a Data Scientist to drive AI capabilities, optimize business processes, and develop predictive models for improved decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and automation.
• Analyze and mine data to improve product development, manufacturing, and safety.
• Support Tableau and AWS QuickSight dashboards for real-time analytics.
• Design and maintain data pipelines to collect, transform, and store manufacturing data.
• Modernize interfaces to AWS data lakes as part of digital transformation projects.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement AI-driven business solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with Agile Project Life Cycle Methodology.

Required Skills:

• Experience in machine learning, AI, and predictive modeling.
• Strong Python, SQL, and AWS data analytics skills.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, AWS QuickSight, and data visualization.
• Expertise in data engineering, pipeline development, and integration.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, AI, and analytics.
